The aim of this thread is to try and keep together some of the more commonly asked questions and answers for reference for our newer members.

Picked up my GT TSI w/ DSG in Blue Graphite (otherwise basic spec level). I think the colour is stunning on this model and will post some pics once it stops raining.
I was disappointed to find that it's not fitted with the armrest or glovebox MP3 Aux in and will have to check out the options on alternatives, any suggestions?
I also found some paint flaws on the bonnet and will contact the dealer and see what my options are.

Still, very very very happy with the car and looking forward to putting some Km's on it

I ordered a GTI last week. Delivery is 2 - 3 weeks.

Car is black, 3 door, DSG, leather and has sunroof and park assist (for her).

I wanted an R32 but couldn't justify the $$$ and after driving a friends GTI I was sold.

This morning we signed up for a.....Candy white.......6-speed.....DSG GOlf.....1.9TDI .

The only options are a towbar and a clear film on the rear bumper to stop any scratches from loading/unloading.

Delivery will be sometime in September, as they are just extracting the iron ore from the Schwarzwald to make the steel, and press the panels etc....

I'll keep you informed.....whether you want to or not

my brand new CW 5 door GTI with DSG, leather, ipod cable, tint and rear park sensors should be here by next friday at the latest! its currently on a truck with priority some where between here and QLD.

they originally said 4 weeks when i ordered it last week!!!

5 weeks on the sea, 3 weeks in Aust.

I just received an email to say our Golf will arrive in Oz on the 27th August. From there it is 3-4 weeks to go.
