  • Mk5 R32 Coilovers

Hey all, I've just purchased a Mk5 R32 and am keen to get straight into things, I've tried doing a bit of research but haven't come up with much.

I've found a set of BC V1 coilovers for $1300 does anyone know if these are any good?

As the FK coils are only $490, (I assume they're similar to JOMs which I had in my Mk3 for a while.)

Question is, are the BC V1 coils much better than the FK coils and worth the $1300? Or if you know of any other decent coilovers for a mk5 r32 let me know and where to get a set. Anywhere around the $1500 mark is good for me,

    Cheers.

I've had the FK coilovers on my MK5 for around 4 months now and no issues with them and the ride quality is pretty damn good if you ask me.. It's a bit stuff over some bumps on the road but for the price you pay they're actually pretty good. I drove a friends mk4 with a JOM setup and they're pretty similar.

But I have heard good things about the BC coils just never driven on them so doesn't really answer your question.. Just though I'd give you an input on the FK setup in comparison to the JOM.
