Tomorrow is the day! advice needed

The big day is nearly here (Wednesday 9am) picking up my new MY08 Tornado GTI. The question i have is what if any checks should i do when i get the car or what have you guys previously found that could have been resolved earlier if you had noticed on delivery. Will be sure to take the cam and get some shots. I intend to pick her up from Nepean VW and drive up Bells line of road through to Medlow Bath and then back to the eastern suburbs. Any advice on the delivery and first days of ownership would be grand!

Just check everything that could be checked. Press every button, open every door/latch, check each single light, ensure spare wheel is in car, ensure you get 2 sets of keys, etc, and then enjoy...

I found no one would even try to match Barloworld @ Mascot, even those that had a price match policy.

Barloworld at Mascot are attached by defacto to VW Australia office which is in Lord Street, Botany. They have a deal that gives them quite special pricing, i have 2 friends that work there. If it was for an everyday golf or Jetta they would have been cheaper.

I dealt with Tracey from Barloworld Mascot.... i got a crazy deal, i smash them down from $38,500 to $33,900 for my new 08 VW golf 2.0 TDI.

The only thing to check would be the usual cosmetics, just so you can point out any glaring problems to be fixed at first service. Anything mechanical can be addressed at the first 1500km check when they ask you if there are any problems.

Bought mine from her nearly a month ago. Possibly one of the easiest car salesperson I've ever had to deal with, nothing was a problem, exceptionally organised, absolutely no BS and still keeps in touch to make sure everything is going well with the car.
