  • Eibach Vs Neuspeed.

    Hey Boys,

just sounding out your opininions on these two manufacturers. I have got a quote to install the neuspeed pro cup kit for $1700 or with Eibach springs $2600.

I hear great feedback about the Eibach springs along the lines of great handling etc etc.... just wanted to know are they worth nearly $1000 bucks more?!

    $2600 is coilover territory

Whoa surely that's a mistake! How do they justify a $900 premium for the Eibach springs, when the springs themselves aren't even worth half that?

I got the Koni FSD/Eibach combo from shox.com landed for about a grand and paid $300 to have it fitted, which works out at half what you have been quoted. Be aware though, if you are going to order from overseas and the price will exceed $1000 AUD, you will need to ask the seller nicely to invoice you for less than $1000 AUD, or Customs will have their wicked way with you.

There's nothing wrong with Neuspeed springs though, in fact, if ride quality is high on your list of priorities, you could be better off with them, as I've heard that they are a more comfortable spring. The Eibach's are a great spring too, and the handling is arguably better, but the Neuspeed springs are cheaper, and given their alleged superior ride quality, may even be a better all round option than the Eibach's.

pss10 coilovers for 1500$ or h&r ones for around 1000. plus shipping plus taxes and you'll still be under 2600. dont forget to buy uprated rear AND front swaybars.

If you source Bilsteins from OS you will end up paying about $2400 which includes Duty & Taxes.

If your heading over $2k plus that would be the way to go.

I have Neuspeed springs on my R32, lowered the car by an inch without suffering ride quality. With the rear sway bar, the car handles much better than stock.
