  • MK5 GTI New Stereo - integrate up/down steering wheel buttons?

Stock stereo buttons have worn out, looking to replace deck.

Up/down buttons on steering wheel are not integrated with stock deck (to skip channels/titles etc), only controls the MFD.

Any way to get a replacement deck that can skip channels/titles with steering wheel?

Recommendations on decks would be appreciated.

Do you have the 1/2 or full height mfd?
I think only full height mfd is compatible with track change.

I would get an rcd510. Plenty around for $200.

Most of the aftermarket units are steering wheel remote ready, but all require an additional box to make them work.
I too wonder if the track change would then work.

It would be good to know which until work well.

Half height. So no after market stereo options to change tracks on steering wheel?
