Ive found that it usually it works out cheaper buying from overseas (US).

Visit them and see what they can do. Pay cash $$$

Thanks Moguzhan. I might give that a try

i just got sent over some of the accessory prices and am in disbelief. Dont get me wrong i expect to pay a premium for dealer accessories but

$295 for a second set of carpet mats --> outrageous
      $230 rear sunblind --> OK
$160 cargo liner --> and OK

So as you can see its the mats that im chasing from a 3rd party and preferably for less than 300bucks.

Hmmm seems a wee bit much...
Paid $140 for mats and got cargo liner thrown in for free, albeit for a Golf. Maybe start to haggle a bit with the dealer.

I bought a boot mat for my Jetta. Bought it separate from the deal - just went to the spare parts division.

Interestingly Austral spare parts was cheaper than Hwy VW spare parts for the same item.

Floor mats were included on the Jetta.

i got the boot liner and cargo net and even although i got totally ripped off for them i no longer give a crap considering the huge amount of use it gets.

i also got the stainless steel sill plate about 6 months down the track. i quite like the look of it on my BMP but the real reason why i got it was to cover up a freakin deep scratch my dad put in the sill when he pulled his suitcase out

            perhaps something to consider?

Think i will get one of those scuff plates too. Look pretty good as well as being very effective by the looks.

I got a set of beige mats with my jetta as well, but i want a black set for everyday use.

Also been dealing with Austral and will hit them up for the cargo liner, mats and scuff plate, hopefully for around $500

                      Will keep you posted

What's the go with the GTI side scuff plates? Are the "GTI" side scuff plates standard for the GTIs or do you have to order them? The website is a bit misleading and has them listed under "protection" in the options list. I always assumed they come standard with the GTI but just checking and wanting to make sure.

I ordered ours with the clear contact type film. I didn't know the metal one existed. May have to make an enquiry.
