Door trim off

When I had the tinting done on the Jetta, I took a few photos with the door lining off. I thought you would like to see what it looks like.

??? The roof will drop a bit if you push down on it when waxing but I've never had the roof or the door skin move when washing them. How much force are you using?

I would have thought any panel would warp if you rubbed hard enough. By the way, it's the internal skin you see in the photos, not the inside of the outer skin. Did you know that if you happen to have a misfortune, then the outer skin on the doors can be replaced..... so there.

I never got my trim taken off when i got my Tinting done!!

Now that's interesting moguzhan. The dealership's regular tinter did mine. Maybe the trim came off so the glass got covered further down .... dunno.

What is the tint made of?

Is it a thin coloured film attached to the inside of the window by glue, or is it some sort of paint / product sprayed on?

A thin film put on the window like wallpaper.
