Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    New R32 owner

    G'day team,

    We have ordered and (im) patiently waiting for our R32 to be delivered.

    Scored Corporate+ discount through Osborne Park VW (WA), and I am now dreaming of the day we have the following in our driveway:

    MY08 R32
    Deep Blue
    DSG
    Anthracite
    Sunroof

    I already "know" zz2, and look forward to meeting up with the rest of the members here.

    Currently looking to offload our 2005 Mazda6 wagon. Also in the garage is a 2007 Yamaha FJR1300 motorbike (NOT FOR SALE!). The R32 will complete a tri-fecta of 'blueness' here at home. Our daughter's Astra CDX and the Yamaha are both blue...so I can see a nice photo shoot coming up soon.

    anyway..off to search the forums....

        Nice. You've gotta love the 32 and its awesome overall abilities. Had mine a year and still open the windows to hear that glorious sound.

                        Welcome Steve.

                        Guys I too have a Black R32 and a few extra washes now and then is well worth the look when she's clean as a whistle!

                        IMHO Black is the only way to go!

                          Yep. We got black as well after a 3 month wait but it was delivered only 2 days after the expected date.

                          We have only done 1800 kays and are still driving around with the windows down and love the "bark" when blipping the throttle on down shifts as well

                            Oh yes the noise. Even in winter when it's pretty damn cold I HAVE to have the windows down! Thank god for heated seats!

                            I'm just on 5000 kays in mine. Not even getting close to mundane. I get exsited every time I have to go somewhere in it!
