the Mk6 around the corner

The Mk6 is probably 12-18 months from our shores isn't it? And from everything I've read, will be cheaper for VW to make, and thus less of a car in certain ways (interior quality for instance)?

I'd say it will be a 2009 car, which makes the transition period shorter and shorter each month. Maybe not a big factor at the moment but people do know it is coming.

You know each new series will have enough 'candy' upgrades to overshadow the previous. It would be hard to say the Mk6 would be worse than the mk5, even if it is cheaper to produce.
