anyone can tell me where to go....money on hand already,wanted a white 3door manual with leathe/xannon light/GPS

what is the price you think I can get it for??? I will be going into the dealer with cash. . . . .will I ge bigger discount if I pay in cash at once???

only 30days left to end of financeial year, i want to score something good.

I would recommend that you see Derek @ Highway Volkswagen or Jeremy @ Ian Boettcher Volkswagen as they both treated me very well. I ended up buying off Derek after I was royally screwed by Austral VW (to the tune of $5000).

Needless to say you should save your time and avoid Austral completely, their actions were certainly very questionable and I'll leave it at that in a public forum but there is a lot to the story over a 3+ month period that resulted in me losing a substantial sum of money and wasted many many many days.

With the specs you listed you may end up waiting for 3-4 months, I ended up getting a car without PDC and bi-xenons as I wasn't in a position to wait another 3-4 months after having waited already that amount of time.

You've got 4 VW dealers in reasonably close proximity (Sunshine Coast, Austral (Brekky Creek), Highway and Gold Coast). Suggest you phone around to see what is available, compare prices ... maybe play one off against another and see what you can get as a bargain.

Don't forget Ian Boettcher Volkswagen @ Ipswich, closer then the gold coast and sunshine coast!

And much better than either of the two Brisbane 'dealers'. Had a great buying experience with Paris Arthur @ Ian Boettcher and have just had my first service (7,500 km) with them. Nice, decent no bullsh*t people.

HID = Xenon. There is no HID without Xenon. ???? Can't see what you are trying to achieve with this.

You can't use an aftermarket kit in the car without making your car unroadworthy and possibly invalidate your insurance so they won't pay out if you have an accident.

To retrofit the factory system you are looking at around $3000+ for new parts. Not worth it to be honest. I upgraded my headlights to Osram Nightbreaker +90's which was a good upgrade.

I think there are a few people on here kidding themselves if they think a Golf Gti secondhand is worth much more than anything else
Take a used one to a dealer and you will find that they are worth a lot less than you think.

HID = Xenon. There is no HID without Xenon. ???? Can't see what you are trying to achieve with this.

I was trying to mean that you know there are aftermarket HID coversion kit can buy at shops like autobarn. . . . I was thinking can I get a normal GTI without the xannon, go and buy the kit from the shops outside and use. . .

The reason behind that is, if there will be a longer waiting time to get the spec I wanted. . . I will just come into the dealer and see whatever floor stock they got on hand. . . so i only need to chase a 3door manual with leather/GPS, would it be easier to get for the dealership?

I went to VW yesterday and test drove a DSG GTI. Decided on Manual for sure. They had one brand new on the floor with a list price of $47,000 on road. (Tornado red, sunroof)

After reading this post, I said to them "Some people are getting their brand new GTI's close to $40,000 so I'm keen to search for a similar deal"

I said I didn't want red so the price dropped to $43,000 for the exact same car. I said I didn't want red again, so the price started dropping again and they said they would call me today with what price they could work out so I would 'reconsider' red.

Where was that? (PM me if you want to keep it quiet) I'm seriously considering buying new as the used cars seem ridiculously close to new price, especially with Jne 30 coming up.

I only want a TDI DSG (a surprisingly fun car to drive) - should be plenty of them around taking up valuable yard space.

Someone put me out of my misery, so i wanted a Red DSG with Leather, Roof, Xenon & Satnav. I got the bad news its at least 4 to 4 1/2 months away as we need to order it. Then a slither of hope, we've found 1 on its way it will be here in 3 weeks but no satnav or xenons!. Would you take that instead, let me think about it for 2 nanoseconds! YES!!!!. So i sit here waiting to hear whether the shiny red beast is mine!!! someone call me!!!!!!!!

Get one with Xenons! RSN510 can be added later - it is almost plug&play!!! Xenons on the other hand is a pain in the arse to install and will cost you much more (with new bumper and washers)!!! DO NOT hesitate!

Its official, she's all mine i'll have her in 3 weeks!, it basically came down to 4months or no xenons. Over the moon! Counting the sleeps!
