Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Pictures of Black Mk5 with red trim on wheels

    Hey all, I'm currently thinking of what type of wheels to get for my Black Mk5.

    I'm stuck between going for black dipped rims with the silver metal trim like this:

    But I'm also considering black dipped rims with a simple red trim (To match the red trim on the front grill)

    Firstly, does anyone have any photos of the second option (red trim) but a side view of the Golf?
    Second, what are your thoughts and opinions?

    I like the rims with the red trim on them.
    Especially if you have the red trim on the front grille, it will look even better!
