  • Service at Lennock Canberra?

    I've got to take my Jetta in to a dealer because it's got an annoying engine rattle that I want checked out. My car was sourced interstate so I haven't dealt with Lennock in the ACT before.

    Can anybody comment on how good their service department is? Please PM me if you don't want to post comments online.

    Personally, I've found their service to be okay. I'm not sure any dealer service dept can be classed as brilliant. Ask for Grant McFadden when you book it in and have a bit of a chat to him. He's usually pretty good and if you can get him on side you'll have a good ally.

      I have had all my Golf TDI service done at lennocks (3 years)and found them OK. But they are like any other service centre they are out to be in business and make $$$. merlinp

        Like all service places, they very nearly always never have a part in stock, meaning you have to rebook to get it fitted, usually in a few weeks' time. This really irritates me about dealers

          I know what you mean...I just waited 4 MONTHS to get parts in to fix my car...It isn't even that bad in the Army!!!
