I did mine but I used a special carbon fibre 3M vinyl designed for it. I can tell you the roof is easy, the grille is a pain but do-able but you can forget the mirrors. I did mine but the vinyl is under such stress from the stretch that it time it starts to peel. Ended up stripping the mirrors and returning back to stock. In all honesty you would be better of getting it spray painted especially if all you want is gloss black. Maybe just do the roof in vinyl.Originally posted by milldinho View Post

Did you disassemble the mirror housings or do them in-situ?Current - 2007 Golf GTI, DSG, RCD510, K&N Panel Filter, BSH PCV revamp, Bluefin Stage 1 tune, 18" Omanyt's with RE003s.
