MK5 GTI ECU swap from DSG to 5sp

Hi Guys,

I have a friend looking to offload his mk5GTI but is willing to part with his aftermarket parts (exhaust, coilovers as well as ECU if possible)

My question is, Is it possible to swap the ECUs from a DSG 06 MK5 GTI to a 5sp 06 MK5 GTI? If so, what is involved?

ECU Upgrade is a Unichip Stage 3

Any help or information is appreciated

It'll need to be re-coded because the transmission is obviously different, and will need the immobiliser sync'd to it.
