Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

My Jetta went in for a warranty job last friday at Barloworld FiveDock, I got given a brand new Golf 2.0 TDI with only 93 Km on the clock.......what a drive......but I would go for the Jetta TFSi anyday

Don't go to Hughsie or you'll get a Mitsi Lancer, now that really was a POS!

Yea isn't that annoying! My dad got his Saab serviced and he was given Toyota Corolla as a loan car! and the service guys said something along the lines of this: "it's cheap and reliable" maybe easier for them to insure or something i donno.

you can tell a dealer is keen for more business from you when they loan you a good car! Most wouldn't even car!

Lol - I saw a Subaru dealership van the other day. Toyota Hiace (Had Subaru xx on the side of it)

On the back in big letters it said "Stay back! This van isn't asymmetrical 4wd!"

Osborne Park VW. They did the 60k service, which is a big one, so i asked for a free car, told them that im paying a lot for the service anyway ($1100) so they said ok

Ohh...That must be your car then. I went to Ozzie Park VW yesterday at about 3:00pm to have my number plate swapped over as I sold my MPS6 and will hand over the car to the new owner next week. I wanted to retain my personal plate so VW will keep my personal plate for 1 1/2 month until my car arrives in May. Anyway, I saw a black R32 with a black personal plate white letters parked outside the service department. 99% like the picture on your signature there. I assume that must be your car mate. Very nice looking little car.
