Hi, got an mk5 r32 2006 with the half height mfd. I'm thinking of upgrading to RNS510 but read that the 9W7 bluetooth kit only works with the full height mfd. What's another bt kit that will work with rns510?

Check out carsystems.pl for all the different types and what works. They also do part numbers.
If you want it to be decent, you'll want an RNS510 regardless. -

RNS will work with 9W7 but as you have half height display will not show on dash only on radio.....but radio display is good anyway! Plus you will need a new gateway to run a RNS on a 06 golf. "Fartherless one" in the above post might be able to sell you a gateway you need and BT kit can be got from Vincent on ebay from lone cove.....user name. VW_PARTS_AUS. Just give me a shout when you have a RNS, Gateway and BT kit.
