    So, checking my service records, plugs were done in 2011 @66k km, so I've only gone 35k since then. Guess it's unlikely to be that.
    So try the de-carbon first then?
    Current - 2007 Golf GTI, DSG, RCD510, K&N Panel Filter, BSH PCV revamp, Bluefin Stage 1 tune, 18" Omanyt's with RE003s.
    Previous - 2003 Renault Clio Sport 172 - Flame Red. -Gone-

      So - ordered new coils, and bought new plugs. Turns out my Cyl 1 coil had a big flap of rubber torn - not sure how, but obviously it was leaking spark.



      Runs perfect again - pulls smoothly without stuttering from low RPM.

          IE the current was finding an alternate path not through the spark plug.

            That rubber seal just helps to stop water getting into the spark pot mate, it doesn't hold the spark in.
