  • How much should the following cost to fix?

Long story short - I brought my car to the dealer yesterday to get my CAN gateway updated to the latest version to support my RCD510 because I had a lot of trouble with the CAN Gateway swap option. After swapping it, I was getting endless errors despite proper configuration. They have come back with the following information:

    - CAN Gateway cannot be updated, there is no software update available (Despite me handing them this and the website clearly stating that there is an update available: 1K0-907-530-E 0110 No Update available
    Navigation System (RNS510) Retrofitting) - Ross-Tech Wiki

    - I have a coolant leak from the Coolant Distributer....??

    - I have a leak (oil i believe) from the Rocker Cover Gasket...???

    - My car makes a strange whaling sound when going left at 30-40 degrees at over 70km/h (i.e. freeway ramp) - they cannot identify this but its a whoop whoop whoop whoop sound that gets faster the faster you drive. but only when going LEFT.

    Thanks!

Can gateway update is hardware not software.

    Woop, woop, wheel bearing.
    Prev 2008 R32 3 door DSG.
    Prev 2010 S3 Sportback Stronic.
    Now Lexus IS350 F Sport
