help needed

i have a 2006 golf tdi and a couple of weeks ago i started the engine and it cut itself out then the power steering red light came on the dashboard and also the airbag light at first i thought my car was gone so, the next day i was going to call the tow services to take to my mechanic but i tried it again and it started this time only the airbag light came on so i went to the mechanic told them my problem they couldnt find any issues so they restarted everything and the airbag lights were gone and my car was good too go... but now today it happened again anyone else knows what the issue is so i can properly explain to my dealer mechanic cheers..

A simple battery test is what I would be starting with mate...

If it can't spin the motor to 280rpm, it won't fire up.
