  • Replacement Plenum Chamber Cover

    Hello!

A couple of months ago, I had an issue where my ECU got water in it, and blew up. While I had it out, I tried to find out how it got water into it (happened after a wash), and by the looks of it, my Plenum Chamber cover is a bit out of shape where it meets the windscreen, and there's a visible gap, meaning the water runs straight down and drips onto my ECU. I'm trying to work out if it's out of shape (heat in the sun?) or whether it's missing a seal of some sort (maybe someone replaced the windscreen and didn't put it back in).

Does anyone have any experience with these?

The part i'm referring to is marked as 1 on this image.

If it's out of shape and not under warranty, I'd just run a bead of silicon into the gap.
