Hi mark4323, just wondering how do you know your car is on TALIA? i order my GTI on 5Jan, and being told need to wait for 16 weeks, How do i know when the car is shipped if i dont have VIN no? does the dealer give out the VIN to you with this particular reason (to check where's my car is)?

i dont think you can.
I think you just sit and wait for that phonecall now. give it a couple weeks usually. Well thats the case here in melbourne anyways.

How do I track the car through Patricks?

Discharged = Removed off the ship and placed on dock. Takes 2-4 days for the car to clear thru customs then Patricks are able to get it and take it to their holding yard where they will give it a quick clean insert manuals, check it has 4 wheels oil etc then it's off to the dealer. Normally Patricks will have it about 1-2 weeks depending on when they get it from dock and where yours in the queue. With some luck you'll have it in about 3-4 weeks. Good luck and enjoy when you get it!!!
