Has anyone taken delivery of a MY08 Pacific yet and if so what are the new features?

No, no-one has taken delivery. The vehicles have landed in Aus, however, will not be delivered to dealers until runout stock has cleared. Looking perhaps at May.
You will be very impressed with the added features, for no extra cost, however.
In addition to the features of the Comfortline, the Pacific has:
Mugello 16” alloy wheels
Dual zone climate control air conditioning
Front sports seats with height and lumbar adjustment
Anthracite sports cloth upholstery
Multi-function trip computer ‘Plus’ (large format)
Front fog lights
‘Pacific’ badge on tailgate
Electronic Stabilisation Program (ESP)
Body coloured bumper inserts, door mirrors/handles and body side strips
HOWEVER, it will no longer be offered as a 1.6 petrol, so you'll need to jump to the 2.0 FSI, which starts around $32,490... a leap from the Comfortline 1.6's $29,790....don't quote me on these prices, I am too lazy to look at a list.
I am looking at ordering an Edition 1.6, with most features from previous Comfortline, but for the price of the old Trendline. -

Likewise... had my Golf for around 5 weeks and some of those features sound nice.

But I guess $35k for a Golf TDI 2.0 DSG driveaway was quite reasonable anyway.Comment

Called in at the stealers today asked about my MY08 GolfTDi. He showed me the computer screen with the details, it is ready for trucking transport to his yard... quote" you will have it next week" end quote
