    MKV 4motion transmission oils

    Hey,

    Not much info about transfer box on mkv, i have access to autodata, which claims that gearbox uses gl-4 oil 2.3L and transfer box uses about 1L gl-5 oil. Some forums I've read say that they share oil.
    So which is correct?

    Car is MKV 2.0TDI 4motion MY 2007

        Genuine part number for the oil is

        G052145S2 or G052145A1.
        '07 Transporter 1.9 TDI
        '01 Beetle 2.0

            G 052171A2 - 1L transmission oil

            G 052145S2 - 1L for both transferbox and rear axle
            G 052145A1 - 0.5L

            G 055145A1 - 1L Haldex oil
