  • performing adjustments with v-checker

    Hi all
im interested to know if anyone has managed to make any personal adjustment's to there mk5's such as turning off coming home funtion in auto mode, two stage unlock etc

i got my v-checker throughfusion but can be buggered if i can find codes on the net anywhere to change some of these features.

A link or how to would be much appreciated...

This should help get you started...

You could also download the Vagcom software from the RossTech website and look at the label files, as they contain all the info on which bits to change for the various settings.

Option 3 is the Vagcom section of VWVortex.

As to how to change any of it with V-Checker, you're on your own, it's easy with Vagcom (often just tick the box).

      Nice find, mrx! Thanks.

BTW, as for the reverse/mirror thing, most folks say this is only available with reverse sensors, but I stumbled on this:
      Byte 14 Bit 7
Mirror lowering with reverse gear (only with Memory Seats)

Any ideas? I'm beginning to wonder whether it's available with _anything_!

I think memory seats and reversing sensors come as a package in some parts of the world. It's definately factory reversing sensors for us (ones fitted by the dealer will also not work).
