Just curious if anyone has a comprehensive list of part numbers for Australian delivered Golfs?

Realistically, I'm only chasing the DSG trim surround and ash tray surround and lid. I've already got the part numbers for the ash tray. I could go an OSIR version. But would like to keep the matte black OEM interior look.

I'd be interested in this too as I have a couple of trim pieces I want to replace. I'm looking for:

    1. Trim surround for fuel flap release
    2. Trim for base of manual gearbox (the piece that the gaiter staples to with a chrome surround)
    3. Trim piece that finishes the boot around the lock (it goes across the width of the boot)

I tried a wrecker's yard for the gearbox and fuel flap release and got zero response.

I thought my-gti.com had something, although I don't think it was exhaustive..but fairly comprehensive.
Have you tried bugging your local dealer?
I know when I was hunting down part numbers for the tinests of things, I was googling a lot but still had to rely on the dealer (though they weren't much help in the end).
Does this site help? VW Parts | Volkswagen Parts (it's a link from my-gti's sidebar)

Golf Edition 30 DSG Shifter, Parts4Euro.com:

Kind of similar. But don't really want the edition 30 style. And not at that price either...

Audi Teile Katalog Volkswagen Ersatzteile Skoda Parts Seat online BMW Teile

Online version of the dealership parts catalog. The VIN lookup doesnt work so you have to work out what applies to your car with some knowledge and common sense.

            2. Trim for base of manual gearbox (the piece that the gaiter staples to with a chrome surround) - Again I believe you need to buy a complete knob/gaiter/base
            3. Trim piece that finishes the boot around the lock (it goes across the width of the boot) - part no is 1K6863459r82v I believe

              Thanks asa572.

I was starting to suspect that I would need the door card to get the fuel release trim. That's why I thought finding a wreckers would get me what I wanted. There's nothing wrong with the rest of the door and the damage is cosmetic (it looks like long fingernails scratching at the rounded edge when filling up) so it's not essential to replace anyway.

The same thing is true for the gearstick surround. The gaiter has had it but I get one of those for $25 so I'll just have to be neat and careful. I suppose the alternative is to wrap it in something but that's a lot of work for minor cosmetic blemishes.

Thanks for the part number for the boot surround. It would be good to replace it seeing as there's a chunk missing from it.
