SatNav help

Guys,

Looking for some advice. My car still hasn't arrived and no one seems to be able to tell me when it will (I found this car in Aust, sure in Victoria rather than NSW but anyway).

My question though is this - my dealer has insisted that I can only have the old SatNav installed (they were going to charge me $3250!). Anyway, I have said 'no' to that kind offer, but the problem is, I would like the RNS-510 or something like the Pioneer AVIC-HD3 but would like to do it via my finance, rather than purchasing myself after picking the car up (I would rather blow cash on a new exhaust etc ).

Is there anyway I can ask my dealer to put an invoice through, give em a $100 bucks for the trouble and then get someone else to install?

Man my dealer was willing to fit Rola racks, mag wheels, the dealer principle even hinted a chip wasn't out of the question. I figure they can do anything you need via finance, depends how much they like you.

Cheers Cogdoc. Sounds good. The RNS-510 they wont do - claim they screwed a GTI or R32 trying to install it but if they would organize it or an AVIC, I will be very happy

also pioneer is close to bringing out a new unit similair to the hd3 but the face is removable and becomes a portable sat nav unit like your navman and so on.....so you might want to consider this option to.....

Sure you can, as long as the dealer has an account with the supplier you want the goods from. They will just give them a purchase order for the goods.
