  • Anyone tried this rubber lip?

    Hi there,

Didn't think I'd be needing this, but the R32 scrapes the bottom of the front bumper when I reverse out of the garage.
Has anyone bought installed this? http://www.maxvisionaustralia.com/do...tion_Guide.pdf

Good? bad? Any better product out there?

    Thanks!

I know a few people have gone with ezlip: EZLip.com

Sticks on and looks pretty reasonable without hassles of scratching up a fixed (carbon) lip at a fraction of the price.

These are good for protection against occasional/accidental contact but won't help you with your problem where you regularly drive over a position where you are out of clearance - adding anything to the bottom of your bumper will make the problem worse

Try this - don't reverse out dead straight - get some angle on the car (the trailing wheel will improve your ride height and clearance) - this will reduce the problem

Thanks, will try tonight. I thought about another crazy thing, might stick some cardboard on the garage floor to me

Get some boards and make a support in the low part Like the old steel gutter plates Even some checker plate would do
