Indeed, we'll be able to have a GT Sport cruise soon! I went out with my old buddies from the XR5 turbo forum last weekend and we drove the Targa West stage that Jim Richard's co-driver described as the best he'd ever been on. After the 'stage' we pulled up in Toodyay and 3 people said almost simultaneously "damn, that thing goes"! I think they were expecting a sluggish, smokey oil burner, and they got a big shock!

Well I have done it.

Ordered a Tornado Red Manual GT TDi this morning.

The car is in Melbourne so will be shipped over to my dealer in Perth then I guess its not just waiting!

The more I read the more excited I am getting. Currently in a Mazda SP23 so will be nice to get the grunt and economy of the diesel!

Really looking forward to getting it now. Just have to play the waiting game whilst Patricks get moving on bringing my car over.

I am off to Singapore on 20th March, so knowing my luck it will arrive on the 21st!

One other question for you all, iPod adaptors, has any one had any experience with them? Im not too keen on the genuine one as you loose the ability to control the ipod direct.
