Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Mk5 TDi w/DSG stalling on cold start up occassionally

    As the title says, anyone know whats up?

    My Mk5 TDI with DSG stalls when its cold. Not every time, just now and then. Maybe 3-4 times a month in total.

    Any suggestions?

    Most commonly in reverse when cold.
