Vic MK5 DSG Transmission repairs/checkup

hey guys so my brothers GTI transmission is said to have issues by mechanics but haven't given a definitive problem. Just curious to know if anyone has dealt with any transmission problems before and where you guys recommend to fix or just even check up to find the issue.
