Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Hi Peter, i don't live in BA but in Cordoba, the second main city in Argentina. I can keep the bumper bars as new since i don't use the car that much, and when i do i use parking lots, haha.

The new Vento diesel is something like u$43000, a little expensive, don't you think?

I think silver grille with red GTI stripe less the GTI badge would be best. What do you prefer Matias?

I really like it, it looks tougher/aggressive in all black.

I think it still needs the stripe (red or silver will work) just to highlight the grill, and definitely better without the GTI badge.

            Well done

Perhaps file/dremel away the plastic that the GTI badge used to fit into just to clean the grill up.

The mk5 definitely looks a lot more aggressive than the mk6, especially in the rear. I love the tinted taillights and front lip. Looks like you're missing the 'v' in vento at the back though!
