Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I don't know why they sell DSG cars without paddle shifters. Did you have to upgrade any of the other components other than the wheel to get the multi-function buttons working?
Thanks! I already had the multi function buttons in my prevoius wheel, so it was just plug & play.

And my car has MT, but the steering wheel seller sent me the one with paddle shifters by mistake

Hi, it's been a long time since i don't update this. Last saturday i painted the brake calipers in red, and finally put the VW OEM wheels center caps.
The car is really dirty on the pictures, had no time to wash it . I will be uploading more pictures once it's washed.

There are some more mods coming soon, keep tuned

I agree with you, but shipping to argentina for that item is about u$500, and i can not get it locally since the GT never got here.

The GT never had that part, it came standard on the GTi - this is why I added it to my GT.
