MKV mods on MY12 Octy RS?

Hey guys,

I own a 06 MKV GTI and a MY12 Octy RS (the missus' daily), in the new year I will be selling my GTI and moving over to the Skoda side of the fence and will use the Octy RS as my car, the missus will get a new Fabia RS or Polo GTI as her daily work commuter.

So now that's out the way what I want help with is, what mods like DP and intake could I possibly use now on my MKV GTI TFSI and then carry over to the Octy RS TSI? I want to enjoy my GTI as much as I can before she goes currently has a Viezu VRace tune and I'm loving it.

Future plans for the Octy are:
Intake
3" high flow cat DP and cat back exhaust
Front mount intercooler
frank3nTurbo f23T K04 Hybrid Turbo/BIG TURBO
Fueling
brakes
coilovers/suspension work
some styling mods
and other auxiliaries to get me around 400hp/300kw at the front wheels

Is there hardware out there that I can use on both cars or will I need to use different items for each of them?

Of the above id suggest that the intercooler and brakes would be the items most likely transferable.

I figured that intercooler and brakes would be, I was kinda hoping to hear that an intake and DP would be possible with some mods done maybe to make them fit the Octy.

I have heard that the Octy has a shorter DP then the golf's and they need to be modded anyways but with the intake because they are car specific I think I might run into some problems.

ur right about the gti's dp having to b shortened to fit the rs.
the dp from a mkv jetta gli will b an exact fit.
likewise with the catback.

i recently bought an apr full exhaust. its made for the mk5 jetta gli in the states. it was a direct/perfect/exact fit.
no modifications required to make it fit.

fuel - the rs already comes with a superior pump than that found in either mk5 or mk6 gti.
brakes - the rs already comes with a superior brake cylinder than that found in either mk5 or mk6 gti.
coilovers/suspension - will fit from a mk5 gti.
intercooler - should fit from a mk5 or mk6 gti.
intake - get the tsi (mk6 gti) version, not the tfsi (mk5 gti) version.
