Where can l purchase Led tails lights for my golf Mk 5.

Hello all , l am looking at purchasing some led tail lights for my mk5 golf , l have found some on ebay but l would like some input from members who have already done this conversion and the pros and cons that l should know about, ls there different quality in some brands and if so what would you all suggest and where would you purchase them from.
l have given a link from ebay for the tail lights l am looking at so you have an idea .

Where can l purchase Led tails lights for my golf Mk 5.

If you want genuine OEM Valeo Tails, go to BKS Tuning. Will cost you around $550 for a legal RHD version including shipping and it's all plug and play with no coding needed.

I personally wouldn't go with those tails as I like OEM styling and to keep things looking standardish. If you like them, get them. With those you'll have to do a rear fog and reverse light swap to make them legal I believe.

Edit: Scratch that, they look to be on the correct side so you may not need to do a fog swap.

Those would all be illegal here unless he got someone like Buckets to do a Fog Swap/Reverse swap. The ones from ECS don't even have a Fog Cover it seems but it'll still do the reverse light on the incorrect side (previous experience with these).

+1 this, once I've got things sorted this will be a step to where I'll be going, I looked at the lights from Mars Performance but chose a different style (still from Mars however), they have done great and I'm really happy with them and if this was all you wanted then I suggest going with it, Mars are great to deal with and sell ADR approved lights that just plug and play

Which ever way you go make sure it's the direction you want to go, there is nothing more depressing than buying stuff then selling it later cause you found something you like better

Hey mate, unless you're good at soldering and wiring I'd do what the rest of us have done and give them to Buckets. He's a wizz at doing the Skyline and Dual Reverse modifications and he'll even help you wire it up if you throw him a few cold ones.

Seeings you're in Ararat it'll be a bit of a drive to him, or you can simply post them out to him. I believe he does the wiring and such for $250 (can't remember what the price was) and he does a damn good job. If you can't figure out the wiring I'm sure you could always ask for him to do it and drive down to him (he's in VIC).

Hello all and thank you for all of your comments, l have been really considering which one of these two sets of tail lights l should go for , l cannot really see the difference between the two except for the price and the so called clear coating on one of them, and it states amber, has anyone bought the more expensive ones and if so what is the difference .
