  • 2010 Jetta Low Beam light

Just loaded the Jetta up for a 1000k drive first thing in the morning and the right low beam bulb blew as confirmed by the bright orange light on the dash.
Got the offending bulb out easily and I'm wondering if these are available at Auto Barns on my way or can I expect to have to visit a VW Dealer on my travels. 55w, 2 flat parallel pins, Osram Made in Germany.
Anyone tell me these are as common as...? Please!

Common size. They are H7 halogens.

Osram brand in my experience not common but Philips and Narva are.

I have a preference for Philips only because of a better experience than using Narva brand.

You should be able to get at most auto stores. I use Bursons down here in Melbourne and they tend to be about $18 - $22 each globe.

Buy two and replace the opposing side at the same time and use the ok globe as a spare

      Thanks BeigeJet
Coming from Gympie Qld and should be able to find one along the Pacific Highway before I get to Gosford (and darkness) tomorrow by the sounds of that.
