Yeah, at last fillup it went to 990 to empty but stayed at 990 for around 150k's lol. Gotta love it.

MkV GTI with a Bluefin reflash and nearly 10000km on the clock. My long term average hovers around 10l/100km, so 500-550km per tank. That's with 100% city driving, and putting my foot down whenever possible.

If I had enough self restraint (or put a block of wood under the accelerator) I'm sure it could do much better. For the performance I'm getting I think it's fantastic - My 2.5l naturally aspirated Subaru used to use the same and go no where near as fast.

        Guys and gals,

Awesome, just awesome. So far the figures are what I have been expecting, and driving range is a major factor in my VW purchase as I drive a lot for work.

Anyone with a GT TSI have any figures?

Again, thanks for the input everyone.

hehe, thought you guys would enjoy a chuckle at my expense. Ive got a 375KW FPV GT-P. It only does city kms, and I average around 18.5L/100kms and typically get 350kms from a 68L tank

(have seen the instantaneous guage reading 99.9L/100kms )

            Don't want a second one?

The ludicrous resourse use it exactly why I am stepping out of my GT.

Was fun in every other way though.

                here is one lol
mine gt sport tsi done about 5000km now (50/50 in terms of city and freeway driving) and i get around 600km out of every tank. my MDF shows that in the 5000+kms i've done i avg 7.6L/100km. I heard its pretty good for a car of its performance... but for past 10 years i drove a A 4cly 2.6 on LPG , so even if i drive a hybrid it still feels like i am getting robbed everytime i fill up now.

Our GTI sounds like a tractor, too...

2006 DSG GTI with 25000km on it. We drive around town and enjoy some spirited driving on the twisties on the way home every day so we aim for 400km per tank. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

It's pretty good on the open road, though. I'm taking it on an 800km round trip this weekend, it'll be interesing to see how it goes... I've never really paid attention, just fill up when I feel like it/it needs feeding.

filled up my GTI last week and got 63L in it. I was quite suprised, I thought the tank was only 55L + reserve. What is the official tank size?

Geez, that's on par with the 5.4 L Ford I want to get out of for that very reason!

My R does about 450km per tank, i don't drive to work so its driven mainly in light traffic. Computer says that its doing 12.5L/100km with aircon on 50% of the time. I noticed that my fuel consumtion went down about a litre since i installed the CAI

Sounds like a dodgy servo. Had the same thing happen with my falcon once. Never been back to that servo since.

I rembember filling up in the middle of the nulabor in an old flacon wagon and putting 89 liters into an 80 litre tank when the car was just below 1.4 full. at the time t was about $1.20/l when everywhere else it was $0.70 or so.
didnt go back to that one either, though i havent been that way since anyway.
