Car Wont Rev Above 3000 at Standstill

    yeah fair enough with a 4wd they wouldnt want you busting a clutch every time you try a launch lol. but the gt golf is a fwd car i mean its not gonna hurt it too much to drop the clutch... it would mainly hurt my bank balance in the form of expensive rubber anyway with the tdi's massive torque 3000rpm is plenty i guess

          why anyone would rev a car to 3000 rpm under no load is beyond me... I wouldnt make a habit of it in any car.

          I bet you are one of those people who revs their car just as they are about to switch it off???

            i bet you're one of those people who flames others for no reason. i clearly said in my original post that i dont want to drop the clutch at more than 3000 but i dont feel like i should be told not to. dont reply if its not useful.
