  • Anyone in North of Adelaide have a Vag-Com

Hi just installed a RCD510 in my 06 GTI with an factory amp under the seat, but sounds horrible and just seeing if any one has a VAG-COM cable I could borrow for a 6pack of beer!

I have done the coding as below when the unit was installed but just wanted to troubleshoot the sound settings a bit more

Volkswagen RNS 510 coding when installing with a factory amplifier | my-gti.com

The guide said "the easiest way to see that the coding has not been performed correctly is that the fader option does not work for front/rear operation" I don't have the option at all.

the Just sounds really tiny with shallow bass and the door trims rattle with the dif feq of sounds. Not sure if its missing the amp or what. But wouldn't mind checking it out with the vag-com.

Cheers Chris. Down in the Mawson Lakes area.
