Finally got it!

Hi All,

Posting this coz MattyT told me to.
I got my CW GTI 2 days ago after a 6 month wait and I coudn't be happier. I was tossing up between a Focus XR5, Civic Type R and the Golf. After just looking at the Focus it just looked cheap so I crossed that off the list. I test drove the Civic which I liked, but felt like it belonged more on a track than the road. I walked over the road and drove the Golf for maybe about 3Kms max and knew immediately this was the car to have.

Anyway Matty wanted me to post some pics so here it is.

Yay finally!

I havent had much personal exposure to Mk5 stuff yet but I gotta say what a GREAT sled. Chassis feels very tight, excellent handling and it goes like stink!

And yus, the leather is very nice

I agree, your mats should be the same colour as the carpet and I'm pretty sure they say GTI as well.
Nice to see a manual too. As great as the DSG, there's still something rewarding about moving the stick around yourself (feels good).
Congrats and enjoy your new ride.
And yes the exhaust note is quite beefy.

I was wondering about the mats! They look different to the ones that came with my GTI (same colour as interior).
