Karthoum lookalikes

Does anyone know of an aftermarket Karthoum Lookalike wheel?

Also, for those of you that have upgraded your wheels to 18" do you worry about the wheel extensions?

Definately no extensions on my Golf!
The VW ones looked pathetic.

What exactly are these wheel extenders? I'm confused

they are short pieces of trim near the top of the arch below the door area, about 150 m/m long. 15m/m wide maybe?? Waste of time and they look silly!!!

Don't you need them to keep the car legal? Or do your 18's fit inside the wheel arch?

I was quite keen on the Khartoum's, lighter than the standard rim, easy to clean, good price from my spares guy, UNTIL, Ford introduced a lookalike on the new Mondeo.
The Ford "copy" is different in several aspects like wider spokes, a lip running down the spoke edges etc, however the similarity is enough to take the gloss off the VW item. Anyway thats just my viewpoint.

Here is an example of the Golf with the Karthoum's. I think they are quite different. Unfortunately, I don't know how to get the photos to appear 'inline'.
