I know the GTI comes standard with black mats, but I was under the impression that they were the GTI embroidered mats, with red trim? Is this not the case? I'll get them to throw somethign else in if not.

I couldn't tell you for certain as I haven't ordered my GTI yet. One would think they were GTI embroided?

No you have to ask for the GTI embroidered mats, i made the mistake of not saying i wanted those ones

I negotiated for GTI mats to be thrown in, so i hope they get it right. Haven't had the best experience with the dealer so far, so i was envisaging them charging me for the bog standard black mats that came with the vehicle anyway! lol
