i paid a deposit on the 17/05/08 and i'm still waiting on mine.. was supposed to take delivery tomorrow 31/05/08 (as stated as the estimated delivery date) but its been delayed because the car hasn't arrived back to them... can't wait till i get mine though......

yeah i wouldve had to wait but i change the colour from black to the graphite blue and they had one at dealers holding yard, was sooo happy!!

Got My GT Sport!

Hey Guys,

After many weeks of looking around i have finally put a deposit down for Golf GT Sport TSI for $42,500! including Leather seat and Sunroof.

Delivery date is Mid July!! I cant wait! so happy now

Well sorted my car out today.

$40 680. Jetta FSI Turbo. Only option being metalic paint. So basically didnt pay for any on roads. Which here in qld from this dealer worked out about $5k worth. Pick up next week!

No trade-in on that either.

I think that is a good deal...much the same as mine.
You must be so excited.Which day do you take delivery...and which colour did you choose.

They let me have a 2 hour test drive today, went on the highways, bit of city, and more importantly up Mt Cootha. Id say Im really going to enjoy the car, even if it is a bit slow.

Take delivery next week, as they want to punch it out before June 30. I got the blue. Was thinking about red, but after seeing it next to my current car, didnt really want it, none being avilable made the choice easy.

Just need a sub, maybe amp the speakers, get a chip, wheels, exaust, etc etc... Just got to keep telling myself its a normal car, it needs to stay normal.

now all you need is tint and a good wax job for the paint.

let us know what tyres it comes with. If its Contisport 2's, theyre a good tyre but they will start screeching with road noise at approx 10k-15k.
