Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • What model are these Audi wheels? Will they fit a MK5 Golf?

    Are the rims 20"? (judging by the tyres)

    Yep those rims pictured are 20in ... 255/35 R 20

    I think they do come in 19in

    They come on Audi A5 and others
    \( O ) o\====(\X/)=TDI=/o ( O )/ 2011 Jetta Mk5 125TDI - Squidly

    ((o)(O))====(\X/)=TDI=((O)(o)) 1996 Golf Mk3 TDI - Squid

          They are called "5-arm rotor".
          I want them for my Polo. Apparently they also come in 17in 5x100 as an option for the Audi A1.

              What is the offset?

              Do they sit too far in, or too far out?

                I think I saw some at Gold Coast Audi (on a car) today.
