Boost in 1st gear - MKV GTI

Hey all,

Just wondering how much boost you produce in 1st gear with your MKV GTI's?

I just put a catch can in my car and I'm only hitting about 5-6 PSI @ around 4000RPM in 1st.
2nd gear it jumps up to 25 PSI & holds at about 20.

Running stage 2 GIAC tune.

Pre catch can, the car seemed to pull harder in first.

Any thoughts on what the problem may be?

You can't look at boost in the low gears, the engine eats it up as fast as the turbo produces it.

You should have boost logged in 3rd gear to see if there's a leak. I'd speak to your tuner first.
