Best led bulbs? White light....

Hi Guys,

Looking at getting some LED's for the wifes Jetta 2008. Used to have some cheapo's with built in resistors to fool the bulb monitoring , had them for number plate and front parkers / side lights but didn't keep them long as they blew after a few months and they had that blue more than white colour to them which looked crap.

Anybody found any good ones? Don't need built in resistors I will just use VCDS to turn off the cold bulb monitor.

Looking for No plate bulbs, front wedge bulbs and also looking to upgrade the main head lamp bulbs too, something a bit more power full and a nice white light halogen.

Bold Sport does excellent LED's at good prices. If you take a look at my avatar that's the full bold sport plate LED unit replacement. For headlights just use eBay, it's the Parker's you gotta look out for.

For all those wondering, if you don't mind a lottery on colour, the cheapest ones on eBay more often than not have a good colour these days. Main issue is that sometimes they have good colours, then a month later you buy the same ones and get blueish ones. So I jsut buy from a variety of sellers and use the best ones. Very hard to pass up when they cost $1 instead of $20.

Yeh I did have some flea bay jobbies but they lasted about 1 month before the first one blew and they looked blue anyway so they went in the bin!...VDUB...

Those 65W H7 bulbs are excellent.

I have them in my high beams.
