Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    GTI Front Lip ...

    Looking to add a GTI lip to my front, found this:

    Volkswagen Golf V 2.0T > Exterior > Body > ES#8044 European Front Lip Kit - 1K0898900

    Do I have to buy this in two pieces as shown in the ECS ad?

    Does anybody have part numbers (for our local dealers to price up)

    ewww at ECS shipping price, it's more than the lip itself
    Search eBay, there are a few on there that are similar and it's the whole bottom section and a lot cheaper.

        Thats a 2 piece item. If you're after just the little lip at the bottom rather than the surround itself the part number is 1K08071109B9
        Local price from a VW dealer is $210.
