        Has anyone had this done in Sydney, and if so would they recommend someone?

        By the way...the car looks hot colour coded!

              man! $600 that's cheap, mine costs $700 and i'm picking it up this afternoon, hopefully my silver color which makes it more stand out, coz for black, hardly notice any big difference ...

                v.nice. but, i want the bottom part of rear bumper painted too.

                        Nah, split colours are the best. Brings back the old school memories of the colour-coded Jumbo bumpers.

                          Apologies for the self-indulgent thread, but I get asked questions about our colour coding a fair bit, so I guess having a thread here for myself and others to share their experiences and so on should be a good reference point. Our GTI was colour coded by David Smash Repairs in Queanbeyan. We...

                              ask for nick or adam.... my car is there atm.they specialise in restoring GT's so if they can do a $500k car,im sure the job is perfect on a vdub!!! they just finished a smashed mk3 and are about to start work on a rear ended mk5 gti.

                              seriously,they resprayed my front end last year and the job was the best I ever had ober the years.no overspray and no blemishes!!!
