Guys I thought I'd read through the manual to grasp everything about the car. Question with the mfd. In the manual it states you can change your mirror dip or sync under one of the menus - convenience. I found when i go into that menu I doesn't have these options. I did find a thread here where people state they have the option and it is available only if you have rear sensors. I have sensors but wouldn't have thought that mattered. I am presuming its something the dealer has to enable on the mfd? Also with the mfd it shows in the user manual you can navigate options via the wiper stick. I dont have those buttons on my wiper stick. It doesnt phase me because you can use your wheel's buttons but is this because the manual is universal and probably a feature abroad?

I think you'll find that the wiper control is for models without the multi-function wheel.
But with the mirror control, you should have the option to adjust the mirrors separately or together. See your dealer if it's not there.
The reverse dip thing is an interesting point. It apparently is only available for models with reverse sensors. That's fair enough, but just to confuse things, if you look at the VAG-COM for this function, there's no mention of reversing sensors, only that you must have electric seat adjustmentAs it's only a software command, it shouldn't be hardware dependent. Go figure.

hi Maestro, my dealer showed me the mirror dip function on a MY08 Jetta in Sydney. I get mine next Sunday so can confirm for you. I would assume the GTis would have this too.________________________
