  • Just Received Brand New Hella Projector Headlights, and CONDENSATION !!!

    Pissed off !!!

Waited a month for them (from Germany), arrived yesterday morning, installed them in the afternoon, all went smoothly.

Drove to work this morning, parked up, all well. On the way home I stopped for petrol and while paying I looked out the window at my baby, CONDENSATION IN MY NEW HEADLIGHTS !!!

    F#%K !!!

Have e-mailed supplier and awaiting a response.

Hey man I've had a set if hella Projectors for about 4 months now and I got some build up the other day. My issue was I've drilled the rear housing to fit a HID kit and one of the bungs fell out.

Best of luck with getting it sorted though.

      Cheers Deadpool,

The supplier said it can happen in high humidity situations, especially if the rear covers have been removed.

So I checked the fitment of the covers, a couple had a little movement so now they're tight.

No condensation this morning so fingers crossed.

But I've got a long weekend so I'm gonna wash my car while the rain has stopped (temporarily) lol.

        I'm looking into HID options

I must say, your paint is in wonderful condition and clearly has a good wax or synthetic protective coating, look at the water beeding, very good!

          Cheers Martin,

The paint doesn't look as good in real life (if you know what I mean)

Where did you get the headlights from mate. Can you give me an idea on a price. Not interested in retro fitting the HID lights, just wanna have the halogens. Cheers.

You can pick up a set of Hella OEM Projectors for around $495 from eBay.

I got mine from Tuning-Fanatics-Shop and their communication and postage was decent.

Ive seen similar in my OEM Zenons. It goes away after a while. Just caused by high RH.
