Hello,
I got a big service done on my mk5 Jetta 2.0t a few weeks ago and did waterpump, timing belt, pully bearings etc. basically a full big service for the 105,000kms and did somethings i didn't really need too. The issue i have is when i got it back it feels as thought it is very doughy and non responsive. When i first got it back it almost felt N/A and that it was hardly boosting at all but this cleared after about 5 mins of driving, but still hasn't felt the same since. Ive looked for boost leak but can't seem to find one (not saying there isn't but) and will be trying to get hold of a Vagcom to check for issues in the next few weeks.
Just wondering if anyone else thinks that the timing is out a tooth or two? What is the standard timing meant to be at idle so when i check it i can tell if its out.
Also can a tune adjust the timing (like a variable cam timing car) or do i have to take it to a DIFFERENT workshop again and have it taken apart and the timing corrected and sorted that way?
any help would be appreicated
cheers
